This research places LLMs back in the history of technology, tracing from steam power, electricity, and the personal computer all the way to today, and discusses how language models shift from being a chat tool into a work infrastructure that organizations can call upon. It also tries to answer a more practical question: what will be truly scarce in the future may not be the models themselves, but trustworthy data, responsibility boundaries, domain judgment, and the organizational interfaces that can tolerate mistakes.
