Research Focus

  • Tracks wave perturbations from the eruption across four meteor radar stations by projecting winds toward the great-circle direction from the epicenter
  • Compares meteor-radar observations directly against WACCM-X simulations in profile, amplitude, and wavelet space
  • Re-confirmed that a single volcano can send shockwaves around the Earth, seen in both simulations and observations
