A runtime-verification study replayed AgentDojo and STAC trajectories through formal rules. It detected about 70% of successful attacks, but also flagged 29.3% of benign runs. The authors link this imprecision to traces that rarely record approvals and never record timestamps. Those missing fields limit what a monitor can infer. Coding-Agent Benchmarks Should Match Their Users’ Task Flows compares issue-derived tasks with 4,782 real coding-agent sessions. Sessions with at least three user messages include changes between asking questions, planning, review, refactoring, and execution. Isolated issue resolution leaves these transitions largely untested. Why this matters

The recorded workflow is part of the test. Preserve approvals and timing for safety audits, and task transitions for interactive coding evaluations.
